This document transparently explains all payments accepted by SAWA. It outlines what each payment covers, who is responsible for paying it, and when it becomes applicable for individual teachers and educational institutions.

Individual teachers can freely sign up and use SAWA without paying any fee. If an educator only needs to maintain a single classroom roster, conduct standard manual roll calls, and view overall attendance percentages, the Free plan provides a comprehensive and permanent workspace.

Free Plan Boundaries: Restricted to 1 active class at any given time (additional classes can be managed by archiving previous ones), 1 event per calendar month, and standard manual attendance logging without automated exports or QR check-in.

Important Notice on Optional Status: Upgrading to SAWA Premium is completely optional. Teachers are never required to purchase Premium. If an educator does not require Premium-specific functionality, their account remains active on the Free plan without interruption.

Monthly Billing:₹100 per month recurring. Can be cancelled at any time from your profile dashboard without losing historical attendance records.

Annual Option:₹1,100 billed annually (offering 1 month equivalent savings) for educators wishing to secure access for an entire academic session.

Educational Institutions (Schools, Colleges & Academies)

When an institution adopts SAWA to oversee attendance across departments, onboard faculty collectively, and manage class coverage seamlessly, specific institutional facilities become applicable.

SAWA Institution Partnership / OnboardingOne-Time Payment

Applicable when a school, college, or university officially partners with SAWA for institutional deployment.

This fee is a one-time onboarding and partnership chargethat activates the institution's digital infrastructure inside SAWA. It includes the actual setup facilities currently implemented in the SAWA architecture:

Setup of the dedicated Institution Head / Principal management dashboard with verifiable academic institution profile details.

🔑Unique Institution Code & Invite Links

Generation of a cryptographic institution code and secure faculty invite links (/accept-invite?code=...) to link teachers safely.

👥 Centralized Staff Directory Setup

Configuration of the staff membership roster, allowing the administrator to accept, review, manage, and verify affiliated faculty.

📊Campus Attendance & Coverage Setup

Initial configuration of institution-wide attendance monitoring panels and the class coverage (substitute teacher) management engine.

* Note: Only actual, existing SAWA infrastructure is provided. Onboarding does not include on-premises hardware installation or third-party biometric hardware integration.

SAWA Institution Care & SupportFirst Year

Comprehensive ongoing maintenance, platform updates, and institutional assistance.

The Institution Care & Support plan ensures smooth daily operations across your institution's academic calendar. The services provided under this tier include:

✔Technical Maintenance: Continuous monitoring of institutional database clusters, session synchronization nodes, and secure token lifecycle.
✔Institutional Assistance & Support: Dedicated assistance for the Institution Head regarding staff roster synchronization, faculty transitions, and code refreshes.
✔Platform Updates & Improvements: Ongoing delivery of all security patches, database optimizations, export layout refinements, and PWA speed upgrades.
✔Priority Support for Institution Issues: Fast-tracked investigation and expedited response for any institutional administrative concerns.
✔Priority Consideration of Relevant Feature Requests: Direct review of specific administrative workflow suggestions by our engineering team based on feasibility and technical requirements. (Please note: feature requests are carefully evaluated and prioritized according to technical viability; not every requested feature is guaranteed to be developed.)

₹6,999 — OnboardingA single One-Time payment for official institutional partnership, institution code assignment, portal initialization, and staff onboarding setup.

₹3,999 — Care & SupportAn annual service charge for the First Year covering ongoing institutional assistance, maintenance, updates, and priority issue resolution.

₹100/mo — Teacher PremiumAn optional Monthly per-teacher subscription. An institution may choose to sponsor Premium capacity for select teachers (₹100/seat/mo), while remaining staff stay on Free.

Payment Processing, Billing & Invoicing

Secure Gateway: Individual and institutional online transactions are processed securely via our RBI-authorized payment partner, Razorpay. We support UPI apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Netbanking, Credit Cards, and Debit Cards. SAWA does not store raw credit/debit card numbers.

Invoicing:For institutional onboarding and care payments, official GST-compliant tax invoices are furnished to the institution's administrative office for accounting and auditing records.
